Abstract:
Study of the influence of the interfacial-tension gradient on the rate of mass transfer showed that increase of K//m both in joint and in separate mass transfer is associated with variation of d sigma /dt. The conditions for occurrence of SSC (spontaneous surface convection) during separate and joint mass transfer were estimated. The validity of the dimensionless equation derived earlier left bracket 4,5 right bracket for joint transfer of two weak surfactants was confirmed.
