Abstract:

An electronic absorption spectra of melts are received at 550°C in frequency range of 16300-30000 cm-1. The melt containing Ta(1V) ions was prepared by anodic dissolution of metal in fused salt-solvent. In order to prepare the salt mixture containing Ta(V) ions, a chlorination of metallic Ta in fused (Na-Cs)Cleut was performed preliminary. The extent of Ta oxidation and concentration were determined by the methods of oxidimetry and peroxide photometry respectively. Integral extent of Ta oxidation in electrolyte shows that Ta presences in the melt as (1V) state.
