Abstract:

The system of metallic tantalum-fused salt on the base of (Na-Cs)Cl eut., containing the tantalum ions, has been studied by three independent methods: coulometric, oxidimetric and potentiometric. The system behaviour at given temperature over along period was analyzed with the assessment of average oxidation degree of tantalum ions in electrolyte. It is concluded that the presence of complex Ta(1V)-ions is possible in salt phase contacting with the metal, basically.
