Abstract:
The aim of the present investigation was to determine the influence of pre-aluminizing of steel substrata on the adhesion of glasses which contain no bonding oxides. In this case, it is necessary to explain what level of thermal expansion coefficient the glass coating should have, so that additional mechanical stresses do not develop in it, since such stresses cause cracking of the glass.
