Abstract:
Melting temperature and temperature dependence of melt viscosity of AlCo0.158Cr0.084Y0.003 are investigated by the methods of DTA and attenuated torsional vibrations of crucible with melt. It is ascertained that the thermal stability of this compound keeps under heating up to 1007°C. The temperature of it melting is close to 1069°C. An anomaly in the vicinity of 1110°C is noted at the curves of dependence of kinematic viscosity of melt on temperature. It is assumed that this is related to reversible variation of short range ordering of atoms.
