Abstract:
Structure and mechanical properties of the AL-9 aluminum alloy castings are regulated by the change of thermal conditions of melting. Density, surface tension, viscosity and conductivity of alloy are explored under heating and following cooling to determine a temperature of alloy transfer from microheterogeneous state to true solution state. The silicon dispersed particles is shown to be refined and the microheterogeneous melt state to be destructed at 1050°C.
