Abstract:
The article evaluates the institutional environment for knowledge generation through the analysis of the formal knowledge growth inside a firm and their associated transaction costs. The authors propose a methodics to calculate the development ratio for the institutional environment of knowledge generation which can be applied for determination of the directions within the institutional design of a firm.
