Abstract:
An experimental study was carried out by histologic and electronic morphological methods. Intravital features may be demonstrated up to 18 hr after death. In cases of postmortem decompression autolysis and injuries to the internal organs were observed. Erythrocytic thrombosis is of a more fragile character than that in intravital cases. Gas bubbles were found in the hepatocytes.
