Abstract:
The crystal structure and magnetic state of the compounds Ce 2Fe17, with Curie temperature TC ranging from 20 to 116 K, but almost constant Néel temperatures TN ≈ 206 K, were studied by X-ray and neutron-diffraction methods and magnetic measurements. The relation between the magnetic state and the real crystal structure of Ce2Fe17 is discussed. © 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
