Abstract:
Neutron powder diffraction was employed to study the magnetic state of ErCo2 as a function of temperature and external magnetic field. The metamagnetic transition has been confirmed directly with magnetization values 9.0 and 1.0 μB for the Er- and Co-sublattices, respectively.
