Abstract:
The magnetic structures and properties of the intermetallic La0.75Sm0.25Mn2Si2 compound were studied in a temperature range of 4.2-500 K by magnetic methods and neutron diffraction. Four different magnetically ordered states were found with the critical temperatures of the magnetic phase transitions TSM Ω 14 K, TAF = 150 K, TC = 305 K, and 350 K < TN < 500 K. The peculiarities and possible reasons for the existence of magnetic phase transitions are discussed.
