Abstract:
A technology and equipment are created for ecologically safe process of speed vapor oxidation of sintered steels in the bed, fluidized by steam. Corrosion resistance of sintered steels is raised by 8 folds in this case. The unknown phenomenon of formation of the complex oxide phases of variable composition is revealed. The phases contain principally the impurity elements, possessing more affinity to oxygen as compared with iron.
