Abstract:
Hydraulic and mathematical simulation of the channel separator operation applied to circulating bed boilers are carried out. The mathematical model is based on the theory of mutually penetrating interacting continua, moreover each fraction of dispersed particles is considered in the form of an independent flow. The flow visualization is realized by means of air bubbles at the diameter less 1 mm produced from air soaked with a pump together with water. The investigations performed show that the butt-ends of separator elements have essential effect of the flow structure.
