Abstract:
A stable particle pseudo-fluidization, their deep and even cooling or heat treatment are provided for in a new multisectional flowing apparatus on inelined gas-distributing grid with practically zero resistance. The character of particle movement is studied. Formulae for calculating the initial velocity of their movement, the effects of the air consumption on the velocity of the material movement, the layer resistance and heat-exchange between the gas and particles are given. The characteristics of the operating commercial apparatus is given. It is established by the operation during many years that the apparatus of a new design is convenient for service and its operational expenditures are low compared with the traditionally usable ones.
