Abstract:
Experimental study of external heat transfer in a circulating fluidized bed of ash of the Esonian shales is carried out. Bed aerodynamics influence on heat transfer coefficient is studied. Fractional composition of ash under study is presented. Experimental data on convective-conductive coefficient distribution with height of circulation boiling layer in a channel, as well as boiling layer density distribution with channel height are presented. The obtained results may be applied for designing circulating fluidized bed boilers.
