Abstract:
The possibility of reduction of nitrogen oxides with products of incomplete burning during the fluidized bed combustion of semicoke is shown. An equation is obtained characterizing the dependence of the degree of reduction of nitrogen oxides on temperature and height of the bed, and the temperature of semicoking. The capability of lignite semicoke to reduce nitrogen oxides is established.
