Abstract:

A solution is proposed for the problem of distribution of gas pressures and velocities in the vicinity of an elliptical crater on the surface of a bed of solid particles through which gas is blown. It is assumed that similar conditions occur when a pseudofluidized bed of one or successively several merging gas bubbles emerges upon the surface.
