Abstract:
1. The rate of abrasion particles depends on the fluidization time of the material and increases almost linearly with an increase in the fluidization velocity. 2. The abrasion rate of a material on a bubble-cap grid is several times higher than on a perforated grid. 3. The amount of dust forming with the abrasion of a polydisperse material, and the weighted density of the particle-size distribution, can be calculated using the formulas presented in the article. © 1972 Consultants Bureau.
