Abstract:
5,11,17,23-Tetrakis(tert-butyl)-25-carboxymethoxy-26, 27,28-tris(ethoxyc arbonylmethoxy)calix {[}4] arene immobilized on the polymer support (Merrifield's resin or poly(ethylene glycol)) was obtained. The presence of ester groups in calixarene does not prevent the formation of a stable colored complex with nitrous gases. Therefore, the synthesized immobilized calix{[}4]arenes can be used as a material for the detection, isolation, and use of these gases.
