Abstract:
The resistivity of polycrystalline fullerene C-60 and graphite in the temperature range from 77 to 450 K were studied at pressures up to 50 GPa. Two activation energies were observed in the temperature dependence of resistivity for both materials. However, the resistivity of both materials is different by many orders of magnitude. It is shown that both fullerene and graphite keep some features of their original microscopic structure even at high pressures.
