Abstract:
We present heat capacity measurements of the title compounds in the antiferro- and ferromagnetic state where in the former a huge increase of the electronic specific heat coefficient is associated with the field-induced first-order transition from AF to FM is found to be in the same order as for the concentration dependent AF-FM transition at about 3.5\% Ni. These results are discussed with band structure calculations in the literature. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
