Abstract:
The (Fe1-xNix)(49)Rh-51 ordered alloys exhibit at ambient pressure the phase transition from ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic state for x ranging from 0 to 0.036. The changes in the electrical resistivity accompanying the magnetic phase transition in the alloys with x=0.025, 0.040, 0.045, 0.050 were investigated under hydrostatic pressure up to 13 kbar in a temperature region from 10-300 K. The phase transition from ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic state was induced by pressure of about 1, 2, and 12 kbar for the compounds with x=0.040, 0.045 and 0.050, respectively. The temperature of the phase transition significantly increases with pressure. The magnetic x-P-T-phase diagram is presented for the studied alloys.
