Abstract:
Cyclization of arylhydrazonoacetamidines with acetals resulted in 2-aryl-5-amino-2,3-dihydro-1,2,4-triazines in the yields from moderate to good. This is a novel synthetic approach to access 1,2,4-triazine cycle proceeding apparently via tandem condensation and electrocyclization reaction.
