Abstract:
Methods of synthesis and chemical properties of 3-nitro-2H-chromenes, including reactions with nucleophiles, cycloaddition, oxidation and reduction, have been reviewed. Enantio selective reactions involving 3-nitro-2H-chromenes, as well as the stereochemistry of the products, are discussed. The ways of practical use of these compounds are shown. The bibliography includes 115 references.
