Abstract:
We report the first use of an electrophysical method of electric explosion of wire for preparing magnetic nanoparticles of iron oxide. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, magnetization and magnetic resonance measurements were comparatively analyzed. They indicated that the shape of magnetic nanoparticles is close to being spherical. The production order of 100g per hour by this method is advantageous when a large amount of material is needed for applications. Copyright 2011 Author(s).
