Abstract:

Molybdenum polyoxometallates with the buckyball structure, ((NH(4))(42){[}Mo (72) (VI) Mo (60) (V) O(372)(H(3)CCOO)(30)(H(2)O)(72)] center dot 30H(3)CCOONH(4) center dot 250H(2)O (I), (NH(4))(42){[}Mo (72) (VI) Mo (60) (V) O(372)(ClCH(2)COO)(30)(H(2)O)(72))] center dot 250H(2)O center dot 15ClCH(2)COONa (II), in particular, as parts of polymer-containing compositions were studied by EPR, NMR, IR, and Raman spectroscopy. The structural and chemical aspects responsible for the formation of the observed spectra were considered.
