Abstract:
The temperature dependence of electrical conductivity sigma (77-300 K) and magnetic susceptibility chi (2-300 K) of AgxTiSe2 in the Ag1/ 4TiSe2 phase has been studied in order to determine the possibility of preserving the charge-density-wave state in silver-intercalated TiSe2. The behavior of chi and sigma in this phase is compared with that of the starting compound TiSe2. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics. {[}S1063-7834(98)00512-7].
