Abstract:
Methods of transmission electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction analysis are used to study the structure of nanocrystalline layers formed on the surface of strip specimens of quenched and quenched-and-tempered at 400A degrees C spring steel 70S2KhA as a result of friction loading by a hard-alloy indenter.
