Abstract:
The electrochemical and electrophysical parameters of polymer-salt film compositions based on poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and ammonium heptamolybdate are studied. The salt polyanions can be immobilized in the polymer matrix. The electrode potential is a function of the molybdate ion concentration in solutions. The polymer-salt films have either electronic or ionic majority conduction depending on the temperature. Both the electrical conductivity and polarization phenomena contribute essentially to the overall dielectric losses.
