Abstract:
The microwave dielectric properties of ammonium heptamolybdate aqueous solutions have been studied in the frequency range corresponding to the peak dielectric constant dispersion for water and solutions, in the temperature range from 283 to 313 K. The static dielectric constant epsilon(s) and dielectric relaxation time tau for solutions have been found. The dielectric constant has been shown to decrease with increasing salt concentration at all temperatures. Its decrease is less pronounced than in solutions of simple ions. Solute ions very weakly affect the rotational mobility of water molecules in solution.
