Abstract:
The interactions between doubly and triply charged cations (Sr(2+), Cu(2+), CO(2+), La(3+), etc.) and d-metal (Mo, W) complex anions in aqueous solutions in the presence of nonionogenic polymers (e.g., polyvinyl alcohol), were studied. Electrodeposition of polymer-salt complexes was carried out both for cationic and anionic species. Physicochemical characteristics of polymer-salt compositions associated with the cation-anion interactions in them (surface tension, contact angles of wetting of solid surfaces, adhesive strength, dynamic viscosity, the rate of solvent removal) were studied.
