Abstract:
The wear of tools was explored in adaptable drawing of capillary copper pipes. The method of finite elements served to calculate the strain in drawing and to reveal the intensified stress and rupture between these areas. The mandrel surface state was explored and the nature of wear including the galvanized layer. It has been revealed that wear localizes in the area of utmost stresses that rupture the interface between the working cone and calibrating mandrel belt.
