Abstract:
The changes in heats of components interaction for the model system of low-molecular liquid-PVC were studied as functions of conditions of synthesis and processing of the polymer. These conditions determine the peculiarities of the initial PVC structure and the degree of its modification after rolling. To calculate Gibbs free energy and mixing entropy for PVC samples with THF we used a theoretical approach based on UNIQUAK model of solution. A conclusion is made that disordering of the structure and decrease in packing density of PVC macromolecules occur after passing through rolls. PVC structure plays a main role in change of thermodynamic parameters of interaction with the solvent.
