Abstract:
The evolution of the UV absorption spectra of TF-1, TF-2, TF-3, TF-4, TF-7, and TF-8 optical lead silicate glasses, which, according to the Abbe diagram, belong to the same class of dense flints, is investigated in the range of the fundamental edge at temperatures from 80 to 500 K. It is shown that the glasses differing in the lead oxide content can be divided into two different spectral groups in terms of the Urbach parameter of structural disorder.
