Abstract:
3,4-Dihydroisoquinolines containing the 8,9,10-trifluoro-6H-pyrido{[}1,2-a]quinolin-6-one substituent in position 1 were obtained by three-component reactions between arenes, isobutyraldehyde, and 8,9,10-trifluoro-6-oxo-6H-pyrido{[}1,2-a]quinoline-5-carbonitrile in H2SO4.
