Abstract:
Temperature curves of the diffusion coefficients and solubilities of helium in pure and holmium-doped lead fluoride crystals are obtained in the superionic phase-transition range. Possible mechanisms of the interaction of helium with ions are discussed, along with mechanisms of the solubility and diffusion of helium in a crystal. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics.
