Abstract:
We introduce briefly the principal ideas of a new model approach to the copper oxides as to systems of the local bosons moving in a lattice of the singlet-triplet Jahn-Teller centers. The unconventional properties of the cop per oxides are connected with an active interplay of the charge, spin, orbital and local structural modes with taking account of the strong charge inhomogeneity and multi-granularity.
