Abstract:
Solubility of lanthanum was determined in gallium-indium alloys of various compositions (21.4, 40 and 70 wt.\% In) between 298-1081 K employing sedimentation technique. Lanthanum activity was determined in the same alloys using electromotive force measurements method at 573-1075 K and activity coefficients calculated from the difference of activity and solubility.
