Abstract:
Theoretical principles of the formation of an orbital structure in a strongly distorted Jahn-Teller BiMnO3 crystal are considered. The way by which the orbital state in different sublattices of the magnetic manganese ion can change the type of magnetic ordering of the crystal in the presence of magnetic frustration is studied.
