Abstract:
The manganites with general formulae R(0.5)A(0.5)MnO(3) (3D-manganite), R(0.5)A(1.5)MnO(4) (layered manganite), and RA(2)Mn(2)O(7) (bilayer manganite), where R3+ is rare-earth ion, A(2+) is alkaline-earth ion, are known as charge ordered compounds at low temperatures with some R and A. In present work, it is shown how the charge ordering and crystal structure form the orbital and magnetic ones. The model of orbitally-dependent superexchange and single-ion anisotropy is used. Also we assume art ideal insulating state of the crystals. The model presented in this work allows to explain the CE- and A- magnetic structures in the terms of charge acid orbital structures.
