Abstract:
The influence of chain aggregates on the rheological properties of magnetic fluids is studied theoretically. The dependence of effective viscosity on the shear rate of stationary flow is investigated. The character and the relaxation time of the viscosity of fluids after the jumpwise changes in the shear rate are determined.
