Abstract:
The phase separation kinetics in a ferrofluid made metastable by a strengthening of an external magnetic field has been studied theoretically at the nucleation, intermediate and Ostwald ripening stages of the phase transition. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
