Abstract:

The structure of thin, electric double layers is investigated and thermodynamic functions of concentrated colloidal systems are calculated. The problem of the equilibrium separation of such a system two phases with different concentrations colloidal particles is considered. The electrostatic and molecular interactions between particles are taken into account in the Braut approximation.
