Abstract:
Processes of diffusion siliconizing of technical iron and steels 4KhVMF and 2Kh9V6 in a fluidized bed are compared with conventional diffusion siliconizing. A comparative analysis of the microhardness, microbrittleness, porosity, high-temperature strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance of the siliconized steels is performed.
