Abstract:
A calculation procedure for the degree of the use of plasticity margin is developed for formation of profiled pipes from a sheet based on the Kolmogorov-Bogatov model. The value of the stress-state factor of metal is determined and numerical analysis is carried out for the degree of the use of plasticity margin in these processes with the superposition of the tangential lift or tension in the deformation region. It is found that the superposition of compression in a gauge during the profiling of the pipes leads to an increase in metal plasticity.
