Abstract:
Heat transfer between simulator devices and fluidized bed was investigated on an experimental installation. An additional air jet was blown in under each surface to destroy the wall zones with great thermal resistance. Experiments with corundum particles (0,12 and 0,5 mm diameter) and glass spheres (1 and 1.34 mm diameter) showed efficiency of this method of controlling heat transfer intensity. Experimental data on surface temperature conditions may be used in developing cooling systems of semiconductor devices. Processes of heat transfer were studied when gas jets were blown into the liquid bed. Particles of glass and corundum were fluidized with water-air mix or glucerine-air aqueous solution. Influence on heat transfer coefficient of fluidized component rate, gas contain, particle diameter, material density and liquid viscosity was investigated. Stabilization of heat transfer coefficients along the height of the heat-exchanging surface was observed both in three-phase and in liquid fluidized bed.
