Abstract:
The phonon heat conductivity in ZnSe : Ni and ZnS : Ni compounds is investigated. The temperature dependences of the heat conductivity coefficient for these crystals are measured by the method of stationary heat flux. It is found that the heat conductivity exhibits minima in the temperature range 15-20 K. It is assumed that the quasi-resonant behavior of the low-temperature heat conductivity is associated with the umklapp processes due to phonon scattering by anharmonic vibration modes of the cluster.
