Abstract:
The influence of the composition of ZnSe1-ySy:Ni solid solutions on the zero-phonon line and the vibronic structure of the electroabsorption spectra of Ni donor excitons is discussed in the framework of the adiabatic potential model. Localized vibrations in a ZnSe:Ni crystal induced by Ni+3 impurity ions are calculated. The calculations have been carried out on the basis of the recursive scheme in the shell model. The results are in the qualitative agreement with the vibrational sideband connected with the Ni donor exciton zero-phonon line in the electroabsorption spectra of ZnSe:Ni.
