Abstract:
Water vapor dissolution in the slag melt model introduced in the paper is based on polymer theory. Calculated data on water dissolution in CaF(2)-CaO-SiO(2) system melts are presented and compared with the experimental data. The results can be used for mathematical modeling of physicochemical processes of submerging arc welding and special electro-metallurgy.
