Abstract:
A semiempirical method of plotting stress-strain diagrams was used to study strain resistance of individual structural constituents of a high-alloy brass LMtsAZhKS. The method is based on the experimental relationships between the applied force and the indentation depth of a conic indentor into particles of individual phases. With the help of a PLAST-SOER program packet, the indentation process was mathematically simulated and the unknown coefficients of the strain-resistance function sigma = a epsilon (b) were determined.
